Red Rock is partnering with Brute Labs and Well Done on a water project in the village of Kamancheli, in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana.
As a coffee lover, you understand the value of clean, pure water. Yet shocking statistics remind us that 1.2 billion people live without access to safe, sanitary drinking water. That's where you / we come in.
Red Rock has joined non-profit collective
BRUTE LABS, and their Well Done project, to raise money for a sustainable clean water solution for Kamancheli.
You can help us in this important endeavor, and help provide life-giving water to a community in dire need of it. There are several ways to join the cause.
* Donate via Google Checkout on the Brute Labs site
HERE.
* Stop by Red Rock and make a donation at the register. You'll receive a smashing Well Done sticker, and a nametag to post on our wall of fame with other champions of clean water.
* Finally, you can purchase an even-more-smashing t-shirt in smashing teal, the proceeds of which will go toward the project in Kamancheli.
Well Done and Red Rock are committed to internally contributing any funds that are required to cover the administrative costs of our partner non-profit organization. This means that your tax deductible donation will go directly towards the work of providing clean water.
We are seeking to raise $8,000 for the water project. No small chunk of change for sure, but together we can reach the goal.
Engineering a sustainable water solution in Africa is a multi-part process. At the outset of the project, the best possible solution is identified. Then, the solution can be implemented. Our figure of $8,000 will support the drilling of a well which will service the villages of Kamancheli and Mekoda, a combined population of about 200 people.
